The verdict
For researched, cited, finished work, Rixx is the better choice. Rixx researches the live web before it answers, with no search toggle and no research mode to turn on, and it cites every fact it takes from the web. That rule runs from a quick answer through to the report, deck or spreadsheet it hands back. Every Rixx plan, including Free, can run jobs and download the files, and paid plans start at $8 a month.
Genspark offers a range of agents, including Super Agent, AI Slides, AI Sheets and AI Docs, as of October 2026. Its AI Slides has a Verify Content step that checks a deck against the web or your files and adds reference links to the slides it checked (Genspark help). In Rixx, research and citations are not a step you add: they are how every job starts.
We make Rixx. Every Genspark detail on this page links to Genspark's own pages and is as of October 2026.

Research is on by default
In Rixx, research is the first step of every job, not an option. Whenever an answer depends on facts, such as a market size, a price, a policy or a recent event, Rixx goes to the live web, reads the pages and cites each fact inline. Rixx is built to answer from the evidence it gathers and to tell you when that evidence is thin.
The sources then stay with the work. Reports attribute dated facts at the point of claim. Slides that use outside data carry source lines. Spreadsheet notes record where inputs came from. Anyone who opens the file can check a figure without asking you.
Ask anything
A quick question gets an Answer: researched and cited in seconds, with tables and charts in the chat when they help. Follow up in the same chat and Rixx keeps the context. When the question becomes a bigger job, Auto moves it into a Job. You never choose between agents.
Deep research
A Rixx Job plans the research, searches widely, reads the pages it cites and writes a structured report with sources inline. It runs in the background, so you can close the tab and come back to a finished Word or PDF report. The same job can then build the deck and the spreadsheet from that research, with the sources carried across.
Wide research
For jobs like "profile 30 companies" or "compare 15 tools", Rixx splits the work across parallel agents. Each researches its share, and Rixx merges the results into one cited table or report. Every web-backed cell has a source, and the table exports to Excel with working formulas for any totals or ratios.
Analyse your data and documents
Upload PDFs up to 1,000 pages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV and images, then ask across them. Answers reference the document. For spreadsheets and CSVs, Rixx uses its own private workspace, with a full terminal and Python, to clean, compute and chart, and it can combine your data with live web research, for example benchmarking your numbers against published industry figures.
Make the file
Rixx delivers real Office files:
- PowerPoint: six themes, native charts and tables you can edit in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.
- Excel: working formulas, recalculated and checked.
- Word and PDF: proper headings and styles, sources inside.
Rixx renders and reviews its own files before handing them back. One job can deliver a deck, its Excel backup and a Word memo from the same research.
